Virginia Glass House & Mirror warrants its products to its original purchaser only, subject to the following conditions and restrictions for the period of time set forth.

 

Insulated Glass Units – Virginia Glass House & Mirror warrants it Insulated Glass Units (IGU) against seal failure due to defects in material or workmanship which results in film formation or dust collection on the interior glass surfaces caused exclusively from the failure of the hermetic seal, other than through glass breakage, for a period of five (5) years from the date of manufacture.

 

This warranty shall be void under any of the following circumstances:

• The IGU is not continuously and adequately mechanically supported on all face covering or “bite”.

• The perimeter glazing materials are not compatible with the organic hermetic seal.

• The IGU has been abused or has not been stored and/or installed in a good and workmanlike manner.

• The IGU is installed in high moisture environments (including, but not limited to, swimming pool enclosures and/or saunas) a vehicle, skylight or slope glazing, or if setting blocks are not properly installed.

 

Limits on remedies in the event of failure: In the event any product fails to perform as warranted, Virginia Glass House & Mirror’s sole responsibility and the Purchaser’s sole and exclusive remedy under any warranty, contract, negligence, or other claim of liability shall be limited to a refund of Virginia Glass House & Mirror’s original selling price or at Virginia Glass House & Mirrors option, replacement of the product without charge F.O.B from our factory. In no event shall Virginia Glass House and Mirror be liable for cost incurred in the removal of failed products, the installation of replacement products, or for any incidental or consequential damages incurred as non-personal injury losses. In the event a product is replaced pursuant to any applicable Virginia Glass House & Mirror warranty, the replacement product is warranted only for the remainder of the warranty period applicable to the original product.

 

Products not expressly warranted by Virginia Glass House & Mirror or product failures not expressly warranted against by (including glass breakage) are not covered by any warranty, either expressed or implied.

 

Virginia Glass House & Mirror disclaims all implied warranties, including the implied warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose. No distributor, Virginia Glass House & Mirror representative, agent, or employee has the authority to alter or change any product warranty either orally or in writing.
